WP231 - 5104 error while tare

The manual says only: “5104 Command not possible while limit ex‐ ceeded” “Command (e.g. set to zero, tare, calibrate command) cannot be executed because the permitted range has been exceeded. The ranges are defined in DR 3.” But I don't understand which ranges have been exceeded - what to look for. Last time while this happend the PROCESS_VAL_1 was “-2,7”, the PROCESS_VAL_2 “1.1”. DR03: Max weight is set to 600 kg, Tare max 100. Could you help me to solve this problem? Best regards, Lotrzyk

I don't use Siwatool software - I am controlling WP231 (7MH4960-2AA01) module directly from PLC's S7-1200 program. I use Siemens example program called “WP231PR”. To tare module I use “1011” command ("WP231PR_DB".s_CMD1.i_CMD_CODE) with trigger ("WP231PR_DB".s_CMD1.bo_CMD_TRIGGER). It usually works fine. I belive that the problem occurs when, for example, the result of (PROCESS_VALUE_1) + (PROCESS_VALUE_2) is below 0 [I assume that this is how it works, then the result is stored in PV2]. In the case as above (PV1 = -2,7 ; PV2=1,1) the result is negative, so it causes error. When I put some weight on the scale, and PV1 is around 0 (so higher than PV2 value), while triggering tare, there is no error (result isn't negative). Could I be right? If so, then how could I extend range, so PV2 could result also in negative numbers?

Therefore, I need from your WP231 module the parameter values of DR3, DR5 and DR14. Please do the steps below: 1. Read DR3: a) Reset the flag "WP231PR_DB".s_CMD1.bo_CMD_FinishedOK or "WP231PR_DB".s_CMD1.bo_CMD_FinishedError of your last command-executing. b) Write “2003” (= Read DR3) to "WP231PR_DB".s_CMD1.i_CMD_CODE c) Set one-time the trigger-flag "WP231PR_DB".s_CMD1. bo_CMD_TRIGGER” d) Check, if the flag "WP231PR_DB".s_CMD1.bo_CMD_FinishedOK is coming. If yes, continue with this procedure. If the flag "WP231PR_DB".s_CMD1.bo_CMD_FinishedError is coming, stop this procedure, and write me in the chat, that the Error-flag went to TRUE! 2.
