Hello Tverdec interesting idea, but the short answer is unfortuntely "No". The purpose of aGSD fileis to "describe" the functionality of the DP Slave (e.g. supported baudrate, max input and output lenght, diagnostic capabilities etc. etc.). As such, the GSD file is developed by the manufacturer of the DP Slave (as its contents will have to match the functionality that the manufacturer built into their DP Slave interface). Most importantly however is the so called Ident number. A DP Slave manufacturer will get a unique Ident number for its DP Slave from Profibus International (who governs these numbers) and itis contained in the GSD file as well as hardcoded into the DP Slave. TheDP Master (who you configure with the aid of the GSD file) uses the ID number to verify that the DP Slave at address xyz isindeed configured with the correct GSD file. I'm afraid you are out of luck (and am no too sure either what you are really trying to achieve or think you could gain by doing what you are trying to do, but hope this explanation helps anyhow). |
