to add four new digital inputs to the existing PLC program.

blazer Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	dear friends, here am with some issues that need your support to resolve. i have a S5 PLC type S5 115U, CPU 943B. i have to install four sensors to my machine as part of a modification, these sensors have digital outputs. so i need to incorporate these four digital outputs to my PLC program. i have done the logic modifcation in the paper. i need to implement it in PLC program. how can i add four additional digital inputs to my PLC program. how can i check whther some spare digital inputs are available in my PLC or not? i think you got what i meant. please advice me.

If you have spare inputs you don't must configure the new input. You only must read them in the PLC-Program.
