S5-115U + CP5431 as a profibus slave for no-siemens installation

Before I became a member of this forum I tried to find solution for "my" problem on the Internet but unfortunatelly without success. For this reason I decided to find some help on official siemens forum and I hope to get some help from siemens experts I have S5-115U controler with two profibus modules CP5431 /6GK1543-1AA01/. At this moment I can control the process from cubicle push-buttons and PP connected to one of CP5431. Second one /CP5421/ I want to connect to external DCS profibus module and to I want to use "siemens" signals to create mimics and later on also control the process also from DCS The problem is I found out siemns CP5431 has no .gds file and can only works as a profibus master itself. As far as I know my CP is connected to some coupler /BUSTERMINAL RS485/ but there is no coupler type in diagrams I have. I added part of the documentation, I hope someone can help to identify the coupler. I am also curious if this configuration is enough to communicate DCS and S5. If not, I would like to know how I should modify the installation of the S5 in order to have access to the signals from S5 Thanks in advance! Attachment coupler.jpg (229 Downloads)

For completeness, the current part numbers for the various versions of theseterminals are: 6GK1 500-0DA00 6GK1 500-0AB00 6GK1 500-0AA00 lazywhiteboy I am also curious if this configuration is enough to communicate DCS and S5. If not, I would like to know how I should modify the installation of the S5 in order to have access to the signals from S5 Assuming your DCS is a Profibus Master, you canexchange up to 244 Bytes of data both ways between it and the S5 by addingan IM308C to your S5 and configuring it as a DP Slave.
