I am trying to send information to a pc in ascii. I have no clue how to do this i have loaded the module in hard wear config thinking i could figure it out from there but no such luck. I just have to send some DBW of a few temperatures and some encoder values. Any help is appreciated Thank you

daga Gold Member Joined: 3/18/2009 Last visit: 5/6/2024 Posts: 306 Rating: (94)	Thismanualshould help. (Chapter 5 and 2.6 specifically) You will also need thissoftwarefor parameter assignment to CP. (Should be there in a CD supplied with CP 341) You can then download the ASCII drivers in the CP.

The pc i am sending the information to is using softwear called Visual Designer. I will be sending the information to him using the 422 or 485 connection. Dose anyone know if this softwear will be abel to use the information i am sending. In the manual it sais it supports : File I/O function support, including ASCII data file read and write RS-232, -422, -485 and IEEE-488.2 communications support including transmit/receive, Here is the link for the manual if anyone wants to look http://control.etfbl.net/mjerenja/des4user.pdf
