Dear Experts, I faced a problem with the hardaware of the S7 400 417 4H system (PCS7 v7.1). The standby CPU goes to reinitialliation mode and then it comes back to normal(RUN mode) after 3 minutes all by itself. I shall post the video related to this and shall send the screenshots of the messaged that I got along wi thg the diagnostics from the CPU. Please let me know if anything can be done about this. Event 13 indicates CPU failure in rack 1. IMO this CPU needs to be replaced. Have you contacted the Siemens Support? |

Sorry for the late reply, Phantom75. I have not contacted Siemens Support yet. but is there anything that could be done without replacement, like a complete clear reset, coz at the moment I cannot touch the DCS system as the plant is on full load. By the way another piece of information is given in the pictures attached with this message. Please find if this works. Yours truely, Grim Reaper.
