Use of (999) Free BICO connection on G120 for Profibus

ArrJay Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	I need to do this in order to send the bits coming into the digital inputs to the PLC (Is an S7 being installed by others). There doesn't seem to be a setting at the PLC end for reading this way. We can't seem to get the VFD and PLC to communicate. They are using SI038158.gse as their configuration file, VFD firmware is 3.23 of a CU240S DP. They get a list of options from Standard Telegram 1, 20, 350, 352, 353, 354, and ProfiSafe v1.0, v2.0. Do they just use one of these and set up the VFD to send the same information plus the word I need to use to send r0722 (DI info)? We tried setting up as standard telegram 20 on both ends and still could not get communication (even with a dedicated connection between PLC and VFD). Trying to get this going early next week, so if I can get an answer of some kind by then, I'd appreciate it. Thank you.

ArrJay Posts: 17 Rating: (0)	Unfortunately, none of those answered my question. They had some keywords on Bico, but nothing on the Profibus part of the question. I know how to set up the Bico inputs/outputs, problem is with getting the PLC to communicate with the VFD. It is actually a W120CP (18-pulse G120). Right now, the PLC can't see the VFDs (it can see Micromasters on the same system, but not these). How can I check if they have the right GSD file?
