MD741-1 VPN dial with other hardware

netdiver Posts: 8 Rating: (1)	Dear All, is it possible to couple the MD741-1 with VPN capable hardware other than S612? i.e.: is it possible to make the MD741-1 connect to a Linux Box with OpenVPN or another VPN enabled router or firewall? From what I can read in the documentation, the VPN implementation of MD741-1 is standard. Do you have any experience in connecting MD741-1 VPN with e.g. Zyxel, Cisco, D-Link, 3com.... hardware? neo Posts: 264 Rating: (59)	Yes, the VPN Implementation is standard We use Funkwerk R1200 from FEC. works fine, (sometimes connectionProblems with AES, so better use the MD5 encryption)
