On these forums is a diagnostics error routine I posted. I suggest you use it to capture your errors which would otherwise fault out the processor. You can then save them to a fault buffer for display, take appropriate actions to shutdown or halt running systems, etc. That is much better than faulting to STOP. It may also help you find the source of the problem. My best guess without knowing your configuration is an external I/O or comm module isn't connected properly and works loose. Once it faults, the electrical surge of all the devices turning off restores that connection so the system restarts just fine. I would remove all the PLC componenets, inspect for damage, and reconnect the connectors, and install the entire system to the DIN rail as a unit, then reconnect the terminalsto the modules. In this way, you can be morecertain of those inter-module connections. /tf/WW/en/Posts/34983#top |
