CPU102 without OB1?

PLCforEver Posts: 99 Rating: (3)	Dear experts, I had an encounter with a CPU102 recently. Project, Set, F3, Online OK Blocks, Directory, PLC, Block list: Aand now I only see PB1. No OB1... I am able todo Test, Block Status... and see that the block is processed so I suspect that the CPU is in test mode. The machine is running OK. My version of Step5 is 7.12 on a PG740. Have a nice day.

jklm Platinum Member Joined: 12/22/2006 Last visit: 1/25/2022 Posts: 1742 Rating: (309)	Hello, Due to compatibility with older CPUs than the 100U series, it was possible to program 100U CPUs with only a PB1. Of course in this case you had only linear programming (everything in one block, no further block calls) and not structured programming (OB1 calling several program parts).
