Ates Posts: 198 Rating: (17)	hmm actually i think that from stl to microprocessors own codes there ismuch to translate because ; for example if i say a i0.0 its direct adressing so this will be 4055 xx (where is xx input address ) a i[md0] its indirect addressing so its code will be 4056 xx so s7 actually must translate our codes to this codes. I dont know exact code numbers but every microprocessor is working this way. and for example i dont know how is loop command works, but you can make it work withouts having a command in cpu. (only with compiling) but as i said i have no idea of siemens's own codes. now as i said, if it uses AR2 somewhere it must reset when its finish, shifting like that, is unacceptable anyway. when i reset it, before i use, like lar2 p#0.0, its working so its self the compiler forgets to reset it. this is the last point i arrived with this problem ..

rscgh Posts: 17 Rating: (2)	Dear Ates, You can find this in an article of "SIEMENS Automation Expert 2005" (A&D CS Siemens Ltd., China 2005 WuHan) (Sorry, this artical is in CHINESE). This paper explained that when a FB is called, AR2, DINO &DBNO is used, so in FB routine, AR2 & DINO cannot be changed. The author is Ms. Gao Hong & Mr. Wu Shufang. Later, I will translate the relate parts into English for you.

Ates Posts: 198 Rating: (17)	This was first topic I posted I guess but moderator removed it so its on again:) I must tell you that, yes when I program I saw that I must reset ar2 or not to use it thats clear but the main thing is : this is siemens fault. This visual compiler which we use, changes our codes to some other codes and then it creates some op codes and then it downloads them to plc. (from some old topics we discused it and dec has made some very good explanations you can search) now the point is when siemens s7 compiler uses ar2 it must reset it again. this is a must or they can just make ar2 internal thing and they can remove it from instruction library. this is my point for this compiler.
