This might improve the appearance of the graphics run time. under the events tab of the object properties, there is an item called focus. Using the focus change on the main status display, the display can be dynamised for other fields like tag name, auto/manual indication, intlk indication and so on. what this basically does is that, when the mouse pointer is directly ppointing to a block icon, it will make it appear like a normal block icon. once the pointer is moved away, only the status display will be visible. all other fields, which might make the screen look cluttered, will be hidden. all this must be done on a separate copy of the template/default block icon only.
