Wiring the Analog Input module 6ES7 431-1KF10-0AB0

B.O.Z Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hello all, First of all, i searched everywhere to find how to wire an analog input module 6ES7 431-1KF10-0AB0. [:(] I have a little problem how to wire an Analog Input Module for the S7-400 PLC. [:o] You see, i have here a testpanel which contains a voltmeter for reading out the amount of volts and a variable resistor to variate between 0 to 10V. I have attached an drawing image of the testpanel. [:D] I want to connect the 0 - 10V on an analog input module 6ES7 431-1KF10-0AB0 so the PLC canmeasure the 0-10V. I already connected the +10Von pin 11 (M+) andGND on pin 12 (M-). And i connected the+24V on pin3 (L+)andGND on pin48 (M). If i monitor the variables (IW512, IW514 etc.) they are switching between -380 and -16? I hope someone can help me out here. Many thanks :) -B.O.Z- Attachment test_panel.JPG (1058 Downloads)

B.O.Z Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Thanks, i already solved it. The GND was not connected properly. When i reach the 10V the value IW514 (CH1) of the analog input module is 27648 When i reach 0V the value of IW514 (CH1) is 8? Is this correct? many thanks! and a Merry Christmas

So I think there is a small voltage left. See manual from previous post, chapter 5 for analog representation to see values when you have 0-10 volt. Merry Christmas Wizard

[8)] Normally there are real trouble with analog signals, most of the time it is wiring. [:cry:] Especially when PT100 are placed it is very importend that the Earth connections are very well, the measuring of mVolt is there what is measured. [:blush:]
