10203 Alarm

marolo Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Anybody can help us regardnig the alarm occurs in our 840D that drive our grinding machines. Alarm "10203 channel %1 NC start not possible without reference point" occurs upon NC start. As per manual on Seimens Alarm Diagnosis it is state that "referencing start can be initiated either channel or axis-specificially. We try to set up the reference and reset the alarm but theproblem still appear after the NC start.Anybodycan teach us how to do the referencing of x axis? We do the referencing in this way.Select Jog Mode .Push the "ref" botton . select x axis and push traverse botton . select -Xand stopat reference point.Position reading in theHMi(ex: -213.800 mm ) will be copy to the Parameterunder R1 .Retract thegrinding stoneandreset thesystem by shutting down the 840D. Is these the proper referencing of the grinding machine with one axis?Anybody can teach us regarding how to set up this thing?

Ekalavya Posts: 2964 Rating: (484)	Hello.... Is this is new machine under commissioning or OLD machine..... Does your motor is with inceremental encoder / Absolute encoder...... marolo Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Hi Ekalavya, The machine use MMC 200.1 versionWe have now successfully loaded the NCK program and PLC program in the machine 2001 alarm has gone already.... but why it is that the Spindle that holds the parts does not functioning at Jog mode and even automatic mode. At jog mode it will clamp the parts but the spindle does not rotate.... at auto mode the grinding stone move to the parts but the spindle does not rotate... from the upper side ..." WAITING FOR X AXIS ENABLE " appears.... Is there any setting that we have omitted
