Dear Tahario, While monitoring OBs or functions and you may encounter " Instructions will not be executed" which may indicate codes are not executed at the current time. For OBs such error OBs (such as OB86), codes are executed in special occasions in case of error happening. For Functions, they may called in OBs which are not active at the time(OB100) or they are called conditionally and the condition is not met.If you check your program structure you may undrestand the reason. Dear Tahario, Yes,This generally does not indicate that your program has errors.LAD/STL/FBD editor is great help to detect syntax errors from your offline codes and plenty of helpful online facilities such as CPU's status word and OB121(Programming error) for detecting online program execution errors. Please refer to STEP7 online manual or THIS for more information. Also check this post on same issue and concise answer of "dchartier". Best regards, Hamid Hosseini |
