Simon N Posts: 44 Rating: (0)	Hi all, Had a working progress development with a S1214C PLC and Basic HMI panel and programmed this through STEP 7 V11 TIA, When I went to upload to the HMI panel it advised me I needed to update the firmware, which I completed without issue However opperation of the panel seamed to stop funtioning as previous. I put this down to the users. The user table from the TIA does not seam to being uploaded,. is there a switch for this ? Also the users table in the control panel is now blank. When I try to add a user the users dialog comes up, but not sure if there is a default user / password. I would have expected to see at least "Administrator" in the users table. Is this normal, or has something gone wrong with the upload ? Suggestions appreciated. Thanks

You find this dailog about "Online >> Extended download to device... Then you click in the following dialog on the button "Load" Tweety Attachment 6_e.zip (805 Downloads)

Simon N Posts: 44 Rating: (0)	Hi yes I have used the extended download and checked all the boxes including overwrite the users database. However the users database still does not seam to be being delivered to the HMI When I go to the window deffined to show the users table, there are no users listed within the table and when I press to add 1 manually, I am being asked for a login and password, but none of the adminstrator password in the offline version work, unless there is a defualt when the table is empty. Is there anything else within TIA that would/could stop the users database being uploaded to the HMI, This has only occurred after upgrading TIA Step7 basic to SP1, which in turn updated the firmware on the HMI Any further suggestions would be appreciated.

For the first time after the OS update is performed you can download the user administration. Also you confirm the project which you have downloaded works fine (user administration part) in offline simulation of the Panel using TIA Portal

Simon N Posts: 44 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have tried the user interface within the TIA (Simulation) and the table is blank allthough there are users within the database. Does this mean the database of users is corupt ? Is there a way to resolve this ? There are only three users, is there any benifit to deleting all the users in the Tia and then re-creating them.
