when i open the program in TIA V11 error is coming

sumit rakibe Posts: 36 Rating: (0)	i am facing a serious probIem about TIA V11. the probIem is that when i open the program in TIA V11 the error is coming, The Error pictuer attached with this. This is the serious issue that when i am using TIA V11 after some time I am facing Error. The sftware is restart or cIose the software. PIease heIp me for it...... 0_Einstein Diamond Expert Joined: 7/7/2010 Last visit: 11/19/2024 Posts: 15406 Rating: (2446)	From a fresh reboot of your computer and first launching of TIA Portal, can you open your project without immediate crash? If so, you may be able to compile your project blocks (OBs/FBs/FCs/DBs) one at a time to find or fix the problem. If the project crashes, maybe open the backup the Portal makes for you and see if it also crashes. If it also crashes, you can start a fresh project and upload from your running PLC to recover your project. Once you get to this point, having the latest updates in the software really helps. If you already have V11 SP2, you should be able to get it corrected. If not, create a support request (see "contact" block in this forum site) and maybe Siemens support can fix your project and send it back.

0_Einstein Diamond Expert Joined: 7/7/2010 Last visit: 11/19/2024 Posts: 15406 Rating: (2446)	If you find another project in your automation folder that does not crash your portal software, double-click to open the project .ap11 file. It should open the portal software and open that project instead of the one causing the crash. After that, you should be able to close the portal and reset the 'last-used project' and open it to create a new project and upload from your PLC. Hope that helps.
