Step7 V5.4 Missing Symbol Table

abproj Posts: 58 Rating: (1)	We are doing a project with multiple S7 414 PLC's Yesterday we got a message that one of the PLC's does not have a symbol table even though it is there. We deleted the symbol table and inserted a new one but the problems is still there. Our MP277 does not work because of the lost symbol table. Any suggestions on how to fix the problem?

Late Platinum Expert Joined: 1/7/2006 Last visit: 11/17/2023 Posts: 2705 Rating: (318)	Hi, Which Servicepack do you have of V5.4 and which Hotfix for (I presume) WinCC Flexible 2005 SP1 do you using? Is it the symbol table in STEP7 or the TAG-list in WinCC Flexible that you are missing (or even worse, both)? When missing in STEP7 then you may try, after making a backup, to save as with reorganise slow. If WinCC Flexible don't have any TAGs anymore then you may have lost the connection maybe, connect that first to the CPU and the network where you want to connect to and then rebuild and reconnect the variabeles. If you don't have up-to-date software then don't do anything and first update S7 and WinCC Flexible.
