Hello, can you post the diagnostic buffer of CPU for more details? Did you check the wiring of your profibus network about cascading the diagnostic repeater? Check chapter 3.1.4 in Manual --> SIMATIC Diagnostic Repeater for PROFIBUS-DP There are no bus terminals used in your network! |

Attached is the Module Diag for the issue I am having. I am reviewing the drawings against the section of the manual you pointed too. This network is set to 1.5M, under the typical Profibus rules at this speed you can go 200-300meters can't you. is this not the case when using these repeaters? On this system here are 3 of them, I am not sure of the cascade or the distance as of yet.Unfortunately I was not part of the design/installation. but I'm the one trying to fix it :)

Hello YvonV, please let me know what device has the IO Adress 8186 and 8170? This address reports in detail the error. |
