Extended datalogging on panel

GoForIT Posts: 352 Rating: (7)	Hello. I've got the following challenge on project including a Simatic panel. I need to log data int, real and string. As far as I can see, the historical data logging can't be used for strings. Is it possible to create some kind of database on the panel to solve this?? I also want to make the database available to an external WinCC server. Does anyone know if this is possible to solve?? Ola

Do you know if the csv file is accessable from other stations on the network while running. (Almost like a database server) or via OPC?? OPC Historical data access would be great! Regards

How do you integrate an HMI operator panel into a local network? Or you can use the option Sm@rt server, which this option can you look from a PC to a panel and you can control the panel or you copy this file to your PC. You can use a panel as OPC-XML-DA-Server for process value communication. OPC Tweety
