Hello Ravi, Didnt see your post because the mod splitted up the subject... What you can do is create the logic in CFC (PCS7 main programming language) and compile as block type. Basically the same as you make an FB block in Step7, compile it and use it x-times. You are talking about third party hardware. Some manufacturers like Eurotherm have created PCS7 faceplates and CFC blocks in order to integrate their hardware in PCS7, it is supplied as a library. Also the add-on: Simatic Powerrate for PCS7 also adds blocks for the sinamics starters, also in a seperate library. There are numberous ways to communicate with third party hardware.. If not supplied by the manufacturer, you can check the communication blocks DP_send, DP_recieve and blocks like that. You can add them into the CFC charts and attach addresses to it. You can also create a SCL source (which is mainly used in CFC for your own custom blocks) and create the logic in there. An example: I had a very old danfoss frequency drive where I had to create a SCL block in order to send and recieve the communication parameters to and from the drive. No blockswere designed for that type of drive. Good luck! |
