object in PCS7

Yai Posts: 62 Rating: (2)	Anyone has a method? I would like to put the tagname of the object (in file @typicals.pdl) as the tooltip text. The prolbem is when I add the property tooltip to the object and I comply os. The tooltip text which I put at every instrument object will be obsoleted and I have to put it one by one every time I comply OS. anyone has an idea to hold this tooltip text not to be deleted, when I have to comply OS. Thank you in advance Yai

I try to add the tooltip text to the template object in file @PCS7Typicals.pdl and then I generate 10 objects to my process srceen. After that, i put the some wording at tooltip of each one by one the generated object. Nonetheless, after I comply OS again, it seems the 10 objects is also updated, and the tooltip which I used to put is disappeared. So, every my complying OS, I have to do this. Do you have the approchs to hold this text or make it able to put the tag name in to tooltip automatically?? Thank you again Regards, Jirachai C.

Nemo Posts: 3149 Rating: (171)	Hi after the compiling/generating the icons in WinCC I would do this: Simatic Manager > plant view > Your WinCC-picture > object properties > register "Block Icons " => deactivate the option "Dervie the block icons from plant hierachie" nemo

Yai Posts: 62 Rating: (2)	After I trying, I found out something. I have to go to Dialog configuration of the object in file @PCS7Typical.pdl. Then I have to add tooltip to be to attibute of the object. Next, this is quite important, I have to change the default name of the attibute to be "tag". That're all! So everytime I comply OS, the tooltip is going to be like this "Chart name_comment of block in CFC". Automatically Thank you Nemo Regards, Yai
