Hello pgarci, I have seen such kinds of problems. The main problem could be on the ethernet port. LOGO devices communicate via ethernet port number 10001. If this port number is busy by other application or blocked by firewall, then you can not access your LOGO device. Solutions: 1. Check which application is using port 10001?

Hello pgarci, I forgot you have said you can read FW version this means that there is a communication to your LOGO device. I would like to tell you how your PC software reads the FW version: First it creates a connection with the provided IP with port number 10001, then it sends 33 in decimal (=21 HEX) then the LOGO device returns first 6 (this means acknowledged) then it will return the FW version. Now lets go back to your problem. While reading/modifying I/O values, the PC software sends and recieves a lot of bytes from LOGO device. During this time (before completing send/recieve) if the connection is slower than the preset timeout value, then you will have incomplete data and your PC soft might crash (if your PC soft were not programmed to catch this errors).
