Configuration of 6RA70 drive on EMF mode

PISCEAN 2010 Diamond Expert Joined: 4/23/2010 Last visit: 11/14/2024 Posts: 8092 Rating: (878)	Hello Experts, 6RA70 drive 50A capacity with DC motor on analogue tacho feed back is running from last 3 years. Recently the analogue tacho has failed & needs replacement. Since it is special tacho & we don't have spare in stock with us,we decided to configuer drive on actual EMF feedback. Hence changed P083 from 1 to 3. When theX axisis moved, the motor speed found jerky & not smooth. We tried to tune axis, by reducing & increasing P115 value but it didn't help. Earlier on different machines, we have tried& run the machine/DC motors on actual EMF feedback value instead of tacho or encoder feedback. But on this machine, we can't run on actual EMF feedback. What could be the problem? Thanks in advance. DEEP.

Because, in earlier cases simply I use to change P083 from 1 to 3 & motor runs without any problem. Based on this exprience, I didnot think of optimisation. But will it make any difference? Because during installation/commissioning optimisation was carried out & the data values are stored, which I varified here.
