XDB-filles - Named connection

MFA Posts: 48 Rating: (4)	Dear all, In the past, I had a project with 2 S7-400 redundant to be integrated in a general WinCC application. I imported the XDB-file in my station configuration editor. In this case, I have 2 x 2 S7-400 redundant, but when I import the XDB-file, I overwrite the configuration of the station configuration editor. How can I "merge" the 2 XDB-files, to import only one with both connections. Thanks in advance for your answer

Bizur Posts: 1530 Rating: (59)	Hello MFA, as far as I know there is always one XDB-file created for each PC-Station. In my project I was always very happy if I could just import this, because normally everything has been alright within it. If I tried to do it by hand, I often had problems. So, do I understand it right, that you have got connection to both H-Systems with your PC-Station? I found some FAQs about this issue, but they are written for PCS7 -maybe they can help you anyway: How do you create a SIMATIC PCS 7 V5.2 project with S7-400 H system and pair of redundant servers?
