Z-Axis Drops down

Dear Experts,

We have Simodrive 611 in our DECKEL's CNC machine. The problem we are facing is that in case of Power failure or Power Dips the Z-axis of the Machine Falls/Drops downs and thus cause damage to Tool and Job.

Please note that the Brake of the Z-Axis motor is controlled by the Drive , we are using HRS Control Card.

We are almost sure that the Brake of the Motor is OK because it works fine when the E-Stop Button is pressed, in that case Z-Axis does not falls.


Is it possible to solve this problem by using Capacitor Module( 6SN1112-1AB00- 0BA0 or Similar) By increasing the Storage Energy?

Are there any compatibility issues in using the above mentioned Capacitor Module with the following components which we have:

Any other solution to this problem?
