CP341 Stopped CPU315-2DP?

kevin07 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hi, I´ve a CPU315-2DP with 4 profibus nods and a CP341 for modbus communication. Everything was working perfect, but when i switched off the cabinet for some wiring and turned on the cabinet again, the CPU went to stopped and the CP341 was flashing on the SF-led (red), the TXD andRXD was ligthing green. In the attched file you can se it report fault on nod address3. It´s a op-panel. Can someone help me?Is it wrong on nod 3 oris it wrong on the CP341-module? I´ve OB82, OB86 and OB122in my program. Mario Braganca Posts: 124 Rating: (17)	The Diagnostic Buffer shows "OB not found, or disabled, or cannot be started in the current operating mode" for OB82 and 86. Verify in the CPU (online) if the error OBs are in the CPU. Maybe they were not downloaded. Download these OBs. Best regards Mario Braganca

GrzegorzG Posts: 63 Rating: (19)	Look's like CP located in slot 4 (i think one of CP341's) is not powered on or defective. CPU can't send parameters to the CP. Check CP power supply. My recommendation is to supply CPU and CP's from one source since all of CP's have to be powered on for CPU startup.

Simeon Posts: 4 Rating: (1)	Hi Guys,I have the extact same problem with my CP341 RS232C module. The machine has worked for5 years or more and just recently themodule has been playing up on power up. Finally today it has stopped working at all. The TX and RX LED's are on and the SF LED is flashing fast. The CPU tries to go into run but after the monitoring time will go into stop and fault. The faults are : Event ID 16# 49A0 STOP caused by parameter assignment error or unpermissible difference between preset and actual configuration: startup disabled Event ID 16# 5961 Parameter assignment error in parameters for central S7 modules Event ID 16# 5961 Parameter assignment error in CPU module parameters From everything i could find in the manuals, it appears that the SF LED flashing means that it is trying to load the parameters from the CPU. Seeing as it is stuck like this, i assume that the module is faulty. Also, when i look at the module properties, the expected device type is correct (from the HW config) but the currect device type is listed as S7-CPU?????. I have ordered a new CP341 and hopefully this should fix it. Does it sound like i am on the right track???/

Simeon Posts: 4 Rating: (1)	Hi All,Just wanted to share my results. Good news is that the new module (6es7341-1ah02-0ae0) solved the issue. The old module was in fact faulty. The symptoms were the SF LED flashing fast and never moving on. In the hardware config, the installed device was unknown also. Once i replaced the module, i only had to do a power cycle to get it working again. This worked as the parameterization for the module is stored in the PLC and then transferred on a power up. This occurs when you see the SF LED come on for a short period on power up and then blinks and goes off. This indicates that the parameters and protocol have been transferred from the CPU to the CP 341 module. I hope this helps anyone else who is having a similar issue. The manuals were not altogether clear on the meaning of the SF flashing i was seeing, hence the need to join the forum discussion. Thanks to the others for there posts and replies. Glad to see there wasnt a "just read the manual" post for a change. Cheers,

Ojali Posts: 2 Rating: (1)	Hello every body I have the same problem with the same moudle and same Error ID as Following: Event 1 of 100: Event ID 16# 49A0 STOP caused by parameter assignment error or unpermissible difference between preset and actual configuration: startup disabled No relevance for user (SDB no.): 5 No relevance for user (Z2): 0000 (Z3): 000f Previous operating mode: STARTUP (warm restart) Requested operating mode: STOP (internal) External error, Incoming event But my system is consists of two CPU as Redundancy, each unit icludes: S7 315-2 DP CPU, CP342-5 and IM153-2 . They are connected through MPI for CPU's and OP77B panel, Profibus for DP (IM's) the first CPU is working but the second is OFF with the error as mensioned above, SF LED is lit, STOP LED is lit , OP panel is ON with no display on the screen.
