Analog Modules 3UF7400

GGB Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hi, i'm starting a project that uses the 3UF7400 Analog Module. The output is specified this way: 0/4..20 mA. What exactly this means? Values start from 0 or from 4 mA? Thanks.

SonicRanger Posts: 151 Rating: (8)	Hi GGB, I don't know this module (I am not very familiar with simocode), but if it's specified this way, I think both options (0-20 and 4-20) are available e.g. by changing a parameter or a dipswitch. 3UF Posts: 11 Rating: (0)	Hi GGB, 0/4..20mA means that you can configure the analog inputs and outputs to operate in the 0...20mA mode or in the 4...20mA mode. Furhermore inputs and outputs can be configured independent of each other. This means that simcode is also able to convert a 0...20mA input signal to a 4...20mA output signal and opposite. regards
