Hi, I have not come across in any Modbus documentations to the term "multitasking" as modbusspecification. What I thinkSiemens it refers as"multitasking"for Modbus server is number of concurrent connections as passive node (Modbus server). CPx43-1 does not support multiple incoming connections for "Native-TCP" so if a client connects to CP on port 502, another connection is rejected by the CP on the same port. This is not the case for ISO-on-TCP where port 102 can accept multiple incoming connections based on TSAP. I believe this limitation is by design. Dec PS Do you have any packets for your later limitation problem? |
