HelloRibbie, Are you sure that CPU goes to STOP?! Do they see the STOP LED lit?! Maybe the do this to reset timers, counters and datablocks in the CPU to initate the plant/machine. I mean they know how to start something from the beginning and don't know how to solve problems when they happen specially in the absence of HMIs. Anyhow, these are the possibilities I will be thinking of if the CPU goes to STOP, 1- Programming error that happens in certain field conditions (OB121 is not there). 2- A software open loop exceeding the max. scan cycle time limit for 2 consecutive cycles (OB80 will help in just one cycle and in the 2snd cycle CPU will go to STOP). 3- Any external hardware error causing the CPU to STOP (Absence of all error OBs). My recommendation, 1- Install backup battery to save the diagnostic buffer. 3- Revise your software. Best regards, H-H |
