Hi Friends, I have built a simple step controller to increase or decrease the number of compressors energised based on an up and down signal using 2 digital inputs. The logic adds compressors in numerical order. I want to improve over the design by choosing to run the compressor which has been off the longest when stepping up and choosing to stop the compressor which has been running longest when stepping down in an effort to even out run hours. Hi!! this is not an easy one.... i´m sorry i used a lot M´s, this is just an example... i´m counting time in seconds B005 when you press I1 the Q with less time ( which is not on )wil turn on when you press I2 the Q with more time ( which is on ) will turn off i know it is hard to follow, please study it and feel free to post any question. Hello, thanks ROSA for your very fast solution - the way is the same as in my opinion. So i can work at some details, because the SIEMENS-solution is only very easy and not what Ant_the_fridge want... Look at the attachement......
