ASi safe monitor EDM monitoring error

Thijs Posts: 121 Rating: (16)	We have an application were we have several ASi safety monitors on serveral ASi networks. All work fine for most off the time. Sometimes after a safety device is trigger (opeing door or something, a normal opperting action) the monitor goes in fault. The fault is EDM monitoring. We have allready changed the relais several times. Now we have gold platet interface relais directly underneath the ASi safety monitor and still we get an EDM error. The time is allso increased to 500 ms (should be more than enough i would think. Does anyone have any clue where to look / check?

My question to you is that do you have already take a look into the ASION Software in the button Monitor -> Diagnostic? What behavior have the LED’s (color, blinking ect.), can you send a print screen of it or better the program file of it. This failure can to depend on the used monitor devices. Thijs Posts: 121 Rating: (16)	Some Siemens experts have visited the installation. They mentioned something about the minimum load and / or contact resistance needed for the system to work. I don't know any details becaurse it's handeld by a college now. He allso mentioned that when the error occured (1-2 a month) the EDM device was showing an error on the ASi-mon software
