Simotion to S7 PLC Ethernet Comm's examples?

Glenn@CNCDesign Posts: 61 Rating: (1)	Hi Christoph, This type of configuration does not work with the hardware I have I get an error on the PLC side which says the "IO device requires extended PROFINET diagnostics" and the remedy is to change the hardware I am using, this is not possible I am trying to communicate between a new Simotion D435 with CBE30 module and an existing S7-315 2-DP with a CP343-1 6GK7343-1EX21-0XE0 I think it is OK on the Simotion side but NOT on the PLC side Is there another way ? Also I am not using the Profibus ports on the D435, could I use this instead of Ethernet ? configure the d435 as a Slave and connect it as a node on the exisiting PLC Profibus network ?
