Depends on the configuration for the PLC interface in HWconfig PROFIBUS or MPI you chosse the PC Adpater.MPI or PC Adapter.PROFIBUS. The settings for the adapter should be compatible with the network settings in HWConfig (transmission rate). Regards Christoph

And on the rest of internet i can not find much about this problem if i click on 'oke' in the above mentioned error, i get the next error 'Download (13:31)' 'unable to establisch a connection to module CPU 314IFM (R0/S2). what do you think hat i can do grt

You can thest this in Simatic manager. Check if accessible Nodes found you plc and open the diagnostic buffer (STRG+D on found notes) Regards Christoph

Remedy: Check whether the SINEC server SIN_SERV.EXE (directory: [drive]:\SINEC\BIN) is on the same drive as the application.
