HelloEgyption Engineer, For both S7-300 and S7-400, you can assign a memory byte as a PLC clock memory. To do so, go in HW configuration>CPU properties>Cycle/Clock memory tab and assign your memory byte for clock memory. Don't forget, 1- Any MB can be assigned as long as it's inside the CPU's system memory (i.e. it's not mandatory to be MB26 unless you have some company standards) 2- Press F1 to read about clock memory so you can know the frequency of each bit. Best regards, H-H

Hello, One thing to add, choose your clockbyte carefully and give the bits a Symbolic Name, to avoid overwriting M-bits used in program, see: How can you avoid overwriting the flags that are allocated for system and clock memory bits in the user program? Regards, Marcjan |
