SMatthews, About #1, then I personally have not yet installed update5, but I have installed update3 and here the MS hotfix is included so I expect it is also included in update5. But you manually have to run the install of the hotfix after extracting update5 and before you actually run the installation of update5 (as explained in the installation readme). About #2, I think the readme is not really clear. I believe that what it really means is the requirement is "Process Historian 2013" and EITHER update1 OR 2, OR 3 OR 4. So I don't think you need to install update4 first. Hope this helps. |

Went through the install yesterday and it appears to have worked. The KB that was installed was not this number so I suppose the system already had that one and just needed this one. Thanks for the help. |

When you unpack the downloaded update5, it creates a subfolder "_Microsoft_Hotfix_KB2756195". You will manually have to install this in case it is not already installed on the system. |

Hi, the hardware requirement you can find in the PH manual: In the PCS 7 readme you can find the supported operating systems: There you can find the information that process historian is not released for Windows 7. Information about compatibility related to PCS 7 you can find also find here:
