Hello vadrad, as mentioned before you should use Task Manager or ProcessExplorer to figure out which process is hanging. In order to find out if the process belongs to PCS 7 software you can have a look at the process names (first 2 chars): WinCC processes start with "cc", Simatic Batch processes start with "bf" , Step7 processes start with "s7". In order to analyse problems with a PCS 7 process, you should always get in contact with the Custumer support. They will assist you with creating a memory dump of the process (using userdump.exe, see http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb%3Ben-us%3B241215&x=15&y=11). Thememory dump can not be analysed by You or the customer, as you do not have the source code of PCS 7 software. That means the memory dumphas to be sent in andanalysed by PCS 7 development department. |
