Hi, The "PCI Simple Communications Controller" could be a missing driver for a netcard in the computer or perhaps some other communication device. You do however mention that you can ping the plc so I assume that the computer is connected to the plc via the correct and working netcard in the pc. A question is however if you have installed Simatic Net. This is required for communication in WinCC. Also take a look at the guide about setting the communication interface: How do you set the PG/PC interface with a TCP/IP connection in the S7 Protocol Suite? Are the plc and wincc in the same subnet or on different subnets? If they are on different subnets, make sure the computer has the gateway entered in the tcp/ip settings just like the plc should have the gateway from its subnet.

Thank you for your supporting. For setting PG/PC interface, I think there are some difference things. The logical device name, I chosen directly to internet card and didnot reboot PC after changing it. But the last time (in the old PC), I did the same and it worked well. I will try to follow the procedure like video and see what happen in the next week when I come back to work. A question is Why did it work well in the old PC although I chosen directly to internet card and didnot reboot PC after changing it? For the subnet, they have some thing because it default.
