WinCC Graphics RT crashing

Quartz Advanced Member Joined: 11/3/2009 Last visit: 11/6/2024 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hello, I have problem with WinCC PDL Runtime crashing whit error "WinCC Graphics runtime has stopped working" In PDL log: // // WinCC reported exception with code: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION // Full crash log see attached Project contains 2 redundant servers (Win Server 2008,WinCC V7.0 SP2)+ 3 clients (Win 7,WinCC V7.0 SP2) PDL Runtime crashing on clients and servers too (not at the same time). I think its project related problem, but cannot locate problem. Tried to check scripts, compile everything, convert pictures and other recomendations which have found on google but nothing helps. It crashing at random time, random action or even no action with mouse or keyboard taken. Some times runtime works few weeks without crash, sometimes crashing few times a day. This could be alot of things, like: Do you have a good network? Do you have two default gateways on your servers? Do you use a CP1613 card? Do you have a seriel connection between servers? Do you have a good stable redundant server pair? Script that use to much memory like: char Name[20]; strcpy(Name, "12345678901234567890"); // =one char short in memory! Do you have error messages in Apdiag? etc. ect. Sorry alto of questions... You have a nice and clean task to debug the problems good luck, Jaap

Desinstalled and reinstalled 3 times WinCC 7.0 SP3 and the problem still there. During desinstalling an SQL error apeared. Then, desinstalled ALL WinCC softwares and SQL too. Reinstalled all WinCC and the problem was there. Then i tryied with a new empty project and the same result. Went to Properties of the computer in WinCC, Startup Menu and check "Global Script Runtime" and "Alarm Logging Runtime" that was unchecked. EUREKA !!! The old original project is running and continue developing new screens and equipment. I hope this waste of time help anyone with this problem. Regards Alvaro
