Changing IP address on Microbox IPC427c

(screen "ie general ip address grey.JPG") "try" idea, only IPC side...: (try... = try to change IP) to remove all references to NIC: shutdown controller, try... remove IE general from configuration, try... set PG/PC interface "none", try... reboot, try... "start->run->cmd": ipconfig -renew try... disable enable connection try... what helps? Hi Smoky, Thank you for your reply. Have tried all of these but i still get the same message when try to change the ip address in the network connections that i have to enable and install a network adaptor. Regards Alan

Maybe you doen't have Admin rights and so you can't change the IP address. Have you tried to Reinstall the driver for the network card or update the driver? And you can try to change your IP address over the CMD. Try this. netsh interface ip set address name="Local Area Network Connection" source=static addr=192.168.1.7 mask=255.255.255.0 you only have to change the Name "Local Area Network Connection" into your Network Name. regards bigfoot

aterris Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Yes definately logged in as admin. When i try typing what you suggested i get the following message :- Error obtaining configuration for interface (name). (name) is the name of my interface.

Roll Back Driver Some other user (standard Windows XP user with a normally Computer) have the same problem and on the Windows Website in the forum it says that they have to uninstall and install the driver. If this doesn't help than just take the Recovery CD from your IPC427C and run it. After the Recovery it have to work. Another last crazy idea is: Delete the CP 1616 from WinLC Place the IE General in the WinLC (on IF1 - IF4 dosen't matter) Reboot Delete IE General from WinLC Reboot And then try if you can change the IP Address Must be the same as to Reinstall the Driver. My problem hereis, that i can't reproduce your case. But if you have another idea or the solution for this problem, please let us know :) regards bigfoot Attachment Driver Options.zip (476 Downloads)

aterris Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Bigfoot, Thank you for your help i h bit the bullet and decided to uninstall the network card then re-install it again which allowed me to change the ip address. Dont know why i couldnt change it in windows before re-installing just weird if you ask me. Regards Alan

Quan in Vancouver Member Joined: 3/16/2012 Last visit: 7/26/2024 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	tested on IPC427C, in order to assign new IP address to General IE, I have to uninstall and install network card. then at station configuration panel, remove/insert IE and assign new IP address at that moment. then cycle the power(maybe couple times), new IP address will go into IE general. I repeated several times. it seemsreal.... for now

ugurs Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello There; In my work machine, I have a ıpc427.When I wrote the PCs IP address, a screen asking the user turns against my username and password.here, as in Simotion Fixed (if changed) transaxle can enter a password and user name. for example simotıons in, we scan the screen, type the IP code the user name and the password line "simotions" is enough to write.This way, you can monitor the values as the machine's control panel simotıons the status of other drives and axis angle. the same situation applies in ıpc427c?Thank you in advance for your response.
