Hi all, I bought a cpu 226 (216-2AD23-0XB0) but the memory is only 16k instead of 24k. Is it normal ? The manufacturer is UNIMAT not SIEMENS. Best regards, mirip. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

Hello mirip; This looks like a rebranded S7-200 CN CPU. We have very little information on these CN PLCs, developed by Siemens exclusively for the Chinese market. So imagine how difficult it will be to find support on these non-Siemens units... and it has happened that rebranders could take a few liberties with the original Siemens specs. If you open Appendixes A and H of the S7-200 system manual, you can compare the S7-200CN part numbers with their equivalent S7-200 (general) technical specifications. See the attached screenshot for hints: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/1109582
The amount of memory found online corresponds to a S7-224XP model, not a CPU 226. Since the advertised user memory is different than the one you actually find on the CPU online information, your only source of information would be Unimat, I'm afraid. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
