Dear Albert , One of our Ongoing site,I am facing some error in desigo insight named as "General stack Overflow". And value getting disappeared on BMS PC.What kind of error this ?? When I restarted desigo insight,then new error comes as "Cannot display start up pages" and plant viewer did not started. When I compiled the Project in Citect explorer these errors eliminated and restarted properly. But these two errors came frequently..... Can you make it clear properly with solution... There are various reasons why such error messages may occur. This message means that several Citect errors occurred and the stack is full. The root cause is normally one or several Citect engineering errors.
A typical case where such an error message may occur is after an upgrade of the Citect version, e.g. from Desigo Insight V4.0 to V5.1, without the adaption of some cicode function. The adaption of some cicode functions are required in some cases, e.g. if you use memory tags.
You did not mention the Desigo Insight version. There was a known issue in V5.0 in the library (the new virtual value „Priority array“ was created in the library) which was solved with V5.0 Hotfix H24. There are other possible root causes. Please check the Desigo Insight graphic projects for errors.
We recommend to contact your local Siemens BT support organization on case that you cannot localize the issue. They may be require a project back-up for the investigation.

Dear Deepak, Yes, I would recommend either to upgrade to Desigo Insight V5.1 or install the hotfix H24. The correct link for downloading the hotfix is: Please let me now on case that you do not have Extranet access. Best regards, |
