Hello, I am kind of new in PCS7, and i am trying to a simulation for my new project. _ I have one laptop and as i understood it will be as ( ES and OS server ). _ I am using PLCSIM just for simulation. _ i did a configuration for my system and it was working well with me. but i want to get ( CPU and PC ) status " cpu and PC diagnostic" so i did the following steps according to manual " PCS7-MaintenanceStaion " 1_ in plant view 2_ select multi-project folder. 3_ right click > select [ plant hierarchy] > setting 4_ select name of your [CPUs ]. To create screen: 5_ in plant view 6_ select multi-project folder. 7_ right click > select [ plant hierarchy] 8_ select [ create/update diagnostic screen ]. I attached a file with screenshots to wincc RT to be clear to you may be the hardware configuration wrong or i have to add something i dont know. thanks in advance, Moelsayed AttachmentMS .docx (34 Downloads) |

Hi, See the SIMATIC Process Control System PCS 7 Maintenance Station manual under chapter "5.1 Starting the process control ", there is a note about OS simulation. It says: "You can only use the OS simulation function in the MS Standard or MS Basic version. OS simulation for a PCS7 Maintenance Station in MS Standard and MS Basic is possible only to a limited extent (for example, no identification or diagnostics data). " Can you use a real AS and OS to test on? |
