      Hi Kenjit,

      Yes of course you can use it as a signal generator, although where are you going to use those signals? For example you can obtain a square wave generator with memory clock byte. 

   M0.5                     Q0.0

       Go to hardware config, set clock memory, put a thick on that box and declare the memory byte you want to use. For example it can be byte M255, and if you write the network i have written, from the output Q0.0, plc will generate a square wave output. You can also change the wavelenght by changing the bit. M0.0 is the fastest, M0.7 is the slowest one.

Square:

Use a digital output, perhaps PWM Output for high freqency.

Sine wave:

nearly not possible because analog outputs ans plc are to slow.

Perhaps you can do 10 Hz, but it will not a smooth sine.

Use SIN command for generate Sinus function.
