Hello all. Has anyone ever had a problem that the HSC counts only at a realy low frequency. I have connected a A/B/Z encoder (the same type as in my previous projects) to inputs I0.0. and I0.1. The HSC is configured like so: Type of counting: Count Operating phase: Single phase Counting direction is specified by: Input Initial counting direction: Count UP Clock generator input: I0.0 Direction input I0.1 The encoders resolution is 500 parts/turn. So I have measured the frequency that it generates and is really low around 8 kHz maximum. So this shouldn't be a problem seeing that the inputs are 100kHz. Like I said if I turn the encored really slow the counting works and is accurate. 500 parts per turn. Any ideas out there??? Cheers. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |

From firmware 4.0 of the S7-1200, you need to adjust the input filtering time. |
