Import-User-1 Posts: 3609 Rating: (29)	I need information as how I can print data from my S7-226 CPU. The help I need is for both HARDWARE and SOFTWARE side. HARDWARE: 1) I need to connect a PANEL MOUNT printer to the PLC, is there one made by SIEMENS or its partners, if any. If not, can you please advise any compatible PANEL MOUNT PRINTERS, because lots of printers in the market, offering lots of confusing information, please help to assist me purchase the right type of printer. 2) I have ordered a PC/PPI cable, I believe this can be used to for FREEPORT, and to connect a PARALLEL printer thru a SERIAL-PARALLEL converter. since the cable will be arriving in a week or so, before I can check FREEPORT options. Can I make the SERIAL -> PARALLEL convertor my self? SOFTWARE: More information, than provided in the TIPS & TRICKS, for printing thru SERIAL and PARALLEL port Printers.

Then you can connect CPU200 with the PPI cable to it. I don´t know a printer type or an adapter for this. Software: FREEPORT is the correct way to program it. I found a FAQ for printers and CPU200.
