S7-1500 keypad function control via external source

Hi,

         it is possible to operate keypad function of 1500 plc can control via external source like digital input or is there any block is available for control the keypad operation

client ask it possible in Siemens for control keypad  operation in external  push button because in other plc this option is available in PLC program block

application is machinery so client can change time for every operation.

it is possible without HMI ???

from which keypad do you talk? Do you mean the Display Panel which is mounted on the PLC S7-1500 or some external Panel which is connected to the PLC with Filedbus?
