“Simple Samples” are small projects that demonstrate simple features. The target is give a quick overview about the theme and be used as start point for related discussions. Follow there are a short description and the configuration main steps. Description: One of news of TIA V14 is the possibility of that multiple instances could be declared as ARRAYs in the block interface, and invoked in loops. This results in a substantial reduction of the code, better readability and more efficient programming during the execution of identical program objects. In this simple sample, the loop controls 10 SINAMICS G120. The G120 control block is a very simple version (just for show the multi instance concept). The drives operation could be follow in the Watch Table. The main trick here was to create also an array of field devices input / output area. This is was done with help of users data types. It was created a data type for a single drive input / output interface area, and based on that it was created an data type for the drives group as arrays. In the tag table a symbol was created for the first bit input (and output) of the whole drive IO area. Requirements: TIA V14.
