SO PLEASE LET ME KNOW BLOCKS TO USE AS I AM USING SIMATIC MANAGER V5.5 SP4... & IF POSSIBLE PLEASE SEND ANY SAMPLE PROGRAM....... THANKS IN ADVANCE........ This link will lead you to the download page of the block library, you can also find the documentation of the block there: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109476945 Unfortunately there's no application example for this block yet.

I HAVE DOWNLOADED THE IDENT LIBRARY & INSTALLED IT TOO BUT THE PDF SAYS Before you can start parameter assignment of the blocks, you first need to create a variable of the data type "sLIdentIidHwConnectType”. Parameter assignment of the "sLIdentIidHwConnectType" data type Follow the steps below to set the parameters for the "sLIdentIidHwConnectType" data type for a channel: 1. Create a variable in your ST source file of data type “sLIdentIidHwConnectType”. With this data type being recognized by the compiler the library has to be inserted in the interface area of the ST source file with the command: “USELIB LIdent” IN THIS I AM NOT GETTING WHAT IS ST source file & HOW TO CREATE IT WITH DATA TYPE “sLIdentIidHwConnectType”... The link to the documentation of the Ident Profile isabove the one for SIMOTION. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/109744065 edit: You don't need STL at all.
