Sinamics V20 led flashing red

Is it 1AC 230V FSA one? If so it might be insufficient voltage in control circuit for example - I've run across few of those in the early V20s.

I understand you have formed the capacitors before powering it up?

First try to clean the PCBs etc. with compressed air if it was in storage for so long.

If the fault is still present you could try to add power from external source to 10V or 24V terminals (check the level first) - this one applies if it's 1AC 230V FSA one from early batches.

And the last but not least, fixer of most red LED issues - firmware upgrade.

Thank you for your help. I checked the voltages of 10 and 24 volts that are correct.

I will try to power the inverters by gradually raising the supply voltage as indicated in the "Forming the DC link capacitors".

I already tried to turn on the power as indicated but it did not work. The drive attempts to boot but without success.

What is the FS version ( HW version ) that you have , it is printed on the Label ( at the right side ) .

I did face a similar problem with FS 02 and FS 04 ,  It could be a SW problem and the OS of the drive has been erased .

To be sure that it is not a power supply problem , Use a parameter loader with batteries to supply the control unit of the VFD ( if it the BOP screen still blank and the led flash red then it is the OS problem )

I tryed again formed a dc link capacitor but it don't work.

I tryed to use a parameter loader whith 230 v power and bateries of parameter loader, the display never switch on and only the red led blink.

I think they really did die. Thanks for the help and see you around.
